Summer 2022 Outcomes

Since 2019 when the last national examination results were published Marine Academy has become the 4th most improved state school in the country, adding a huge +1.03 on to our 2019 Progress 8 score. Of schools similar to us both in terms of size and student in-take, we are the 4th highest performing school in the country.

We are now also very proud to state that we are the highest performing non-selective school in Plymouth and this year we saw over 70% of our Yr 13s move on to University. At Sixth Form we have added two whole grades on to the average grade at A-level since 2019, moving from a E+ to a C+.

This is just the beginning of our journey; we will continue to make these huge strides forward towards our mission of becoming one of the highest performing schools in the country by 2025- hardly anyone has been able to match our progress and this will continue to be the case going forwards.
