At MAP, we are driven by a clear and ambitious core belief: every student who joins us has the potential to get to and through university. While we recognize that this may not be the right path for all of our students, we firmly believe that having this option is a hallmark of a successful, high-quality education—one that enables our students to excel in top careers and live their best lives. We combine academic rigor with a joyful learning experience, ensuring our students gain the knowledge, experiences, and support needed to achieve their dreams.
We are proud to have recently been rated 'Good' in all areas by Ofsted, including our thriving sixth form, which is among the highest performing in the city. Over 70% of our Year 13 students go on to universities, including the most academically selective institutions. This success is due to our ambitious curriculum, which begins on the first day of Year 7. Our curriculum is designed not only to help students achieve the best academic outcomes but also to offer meaningful cultural enrichment. We believe that knowledge empowers: it gives students the confidence to learn more, think critically and creatively, and actively participate in society. Our knowledge-rich curriculum, based on the best of cognitive science, is underpinned by the belief that all children, regardless of background or ability, have the right to access the best that has been said and thought.

Ofsted also praised our strong focus on good manners, respect, and empathy for others, which has led to a school that is calm and welcoming. We hold high expectations for student behaviour, understanding that exceptional conduct is crucial to maintaining a safe and happy environment for all. Our calm and orderly school atmosphere allows every student to thrive. We also believe that excellent attendance is key to success, and we work closely with families to ensure students don't miss a day. We strive to make every day unmissable for our students—with world-class lessons, personal development opportunities, and daily celebrations that simply can't be missed.
