Academy Day

Times of the Academy Day:

• 8:30am – All students arrive
• 8:32am – Gates close
• 8:35am - 9:00am – Tutor time & Assemblies (Registration)
• 9:00am - 10:00am - Session One
• 10:00am - 11:00am - Session Two
• 11:00am - 11:20am – Breaktime
• 11:20am - 12:20pm - Session Three
• 12:20pm - 1:20pm - Session Four
• 1:20pm - 1:50pm - Lunch Break
• 1:50pm - 2:50pm - Session Five
• 3:00pm - Onwards – Timetabled optional Extra Curricular events.

Attendance

Marine Academy is committed to providing a full and effective educational experience for all students. We believe that if students are to benefit from education, punctual, daily attendance is crucial. We actively promote and encourage 100% attendance for all our students.

We recognise that parents have a vital role to play and that there is a need to establish strong home-school links and communication systems that can be utilised whenever there is concern about attendance.

Students need to be in school every morning by 8:30am with our gates closing at 8:32am. We thank you for your co-operation.
